Robert Head

Senior Vice President, Government Affairs

Robert Head is the senior vice president for Lockheed Martin Government Affairs. In this role, he directs the corporation’s engagement with the U.S. Government and manages all federal, state and local government customer relationships. 

Mr. Head previously served as the Vice President for Political Affairs, State Government & Global Program Support for Lockheed Martin Government Affairs. In this capacity, Mr. Head coordinated the corporation’s political activities, state and local government relationships and was responsible for engagement with the White House.

Prior to joining Lockheed Martin, Mr. Head was Chief of Staff to House Appropriations Chairwoman Kay Granger. He also served as an Intelligence Officer in the United States Navy Reserve. 

Mr. Head is a member of several business association and non-profit boards in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Southern Methodist University in History and Political Science and received a master’s degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College.
